We’re looking for a Financial Accountant to join our Finance team and play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, strong governance and continuous improvement across the organisation.

About the Role
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you’ll be responsible for maintaining the integrity of financial accounts and supporting key finance processes.
In this role, you will:
- Manage month-end processes, including journals and reconciliations
- Maintain accurate general ledger data and financial records
- Support budgeting, forecasting and cashflow activities
- Prepare statutory reporting and funding acquittals
- Assist with internal and external audits
- Support payroll-related processes and compliance obligations
- Contribute to process improvements and system enhancements
About You
You’re a proactive and capable finance professional who takes pride in delivering accurate, high-quality work.
You will bring:
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Commerce or similar
- CA/CPA (or working towards)
- Experience in a Financial Accountant or similar role
- Strong understanding of accounting standards and reporting requirements
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial systems
- Strong attention to detail and analytical capability
Desirable:
- Experience in government, not-for-profit or grant-funded environments
- Familiarity with WA public sector financial processes
